For one of our clients, a private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for an:
INVESTMENT & SUITABILITY RISK OFFICER
Job description
- Ongoing and ad hoc suitability and compliance controls related to investments.
- Regulatory support to Portfolio Management and Investment Advisory teams.
- Development and maintenance of risk dashboards and management tools.
- Contribution to the second-line risk management framework.
- Assistance and challenge to first-line controls implemented by the Investment team.
- Participation in group-wide suitability and risk management projects.
- Monitoring of regulatory frameworks (LSFin, MiFID) and ESG standards.
- Collaboration with data analysts to define ESG-related data needs.
- Quarterly debriefings with Wealth Management teams on key controls.
- Guidance and remediation of Investment Guidelines breaches.
- Representation in the Investment and Product Committee.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- CFA, FRM, CIIA, or Compliance certifications (asset).
- 5+ years’ experience in financial risk or compliance within wealth management.
- Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
- Thorough understanding of LSFin, MiFID, and ESG regulations.
- Autonomy, initiative, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in VBA or Power BI.
- Fluency in French and English.
