For one of our clients, a private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for an:

INVESTMENT & SUITABILITY RISK OFFICER

Job description

• Ongoing and ad hoc suitability and compliance controls related to investments.
• Regulatory support to Portfolio Management and Investment Advisory teams.
• Development and maintenance of risk dashboards and management tools.
• Contribution to the second-line risk management framework.
• Assistance and challenge to first-line controls implemented by the Investment team.
• Participation in group-wide suitability and risk management projects.
• Monitoring of regulatory frameworks (LSFin, MiFID) and ESG standards.
• Collaboration with data analysts to define ESG-related data needs.
• Quarterly debriefings with Wealth Management teams on key controls.
• Guidance and remediation of Investment Guidelines breaches.
• Representation in the Investment and Product Committee.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• CFA, FRM, CIIA, or Compliance certifications (asset).
• 5+ years’ experience in financial risk or compliance within wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
• Thorough understanding of LSFin, MiFID, and ESG regulations.
• Autonomy, initiative, and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in VBA or Power BI.
• Fluency in French and English.
