SENIOR TRUST OFFICER (80-100%)
Job description
As Senior Trust Officer, you will manage a complex portfolio of international trusts and companies, and act as a key contact for clients and intermediaries. Working within a small and collaborative team, this role requires autonomy, strong ownership and a hands-on approach.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently administer a portfolio of complex trust and corporate structures
- Act as the main relationship manager for clients and professional intermediaries
- Oversee governance matters relating to trusts and companies
- Review and analyse legal, contractual and transactional documentation
- Participate in the onboarding of complex structures
- Conduct AML/KYC risk assessments and periodic file reviews
- Liaise with banks, tax advisers and legal counsel
- Contribute to the improvement of internal processes, controls and best practices
- Take an active role in daily operational matters
Required profile
- 5–8 years of experience within a trust company (Swiss experience strongly preferred)
- Strong technical expertise in trust and corporate structures
- Experience handling complex and high-value clients
- Good knowledge of FATCA and CRS
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Positive, pragmatic and team-oriented mindset suited to a small structure
- Fluent in French (mandatory) and English
- STEP qualification completed or in progress
