Job description

As part of the development of its Luxembourg office, our client is seeking a highly autonomous and motivated professional to support the build-up of local operations. The role reports to Management based abroad and plays a key part in establishing robust governance, compliance and AML standards.

The position focuses on the oversight of a portfolio of Luxembourg entities from a corporate governance, regulatory and AML perspective. While the role is not directly client-facing at the beginning, it involves close collaboration with client-facing teams located in other offices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage banking-related matters and KYC requests for Luxembourg structures;
  • Handle registrations, filings, reporting and certificate requests with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register (RCS);
  • Support the set-up and ongoing maintenance of internal administrative and AML processes for the Luxembourg office;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures and standards, with scalability in mind;
  • Monitor regulatory, legal and industry developments relevant to Luxembourg corporate services;
  • Identify compliance and operational risks and proactively propose mitigation measures;
  • Assist with the organisation of visits and travel arrangements for group delegations to Luxembourg.

Required profile

  • Several years of experience within a Corporate Service Provider, Family Office or Trust Office, ideally in Luxembourg
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field
  • Solid understanding of corporate governance, AML and regulatory requirements applicable in Luxembourg
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in a build-up environment
  • Strong sense of ownership, integrity and accountability
  • Structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills within international and remote teams
  • Ease with digital tools and modern reporting systems
  • Very good command of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English and French; Scandinavian languages considered an asset
  • STEP qualification is a strong advantage
