For one of our clients, a financial institution based in Geneva, we are looking for a:

 

CENTRAL FILE OFFICER

 

Job description

  • Process and maintain client data within the banking systems, including the set-up and configuration of new accounts
  • Review account opening documentation and perform due diligence checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of client files
  • Prepare and maintain client-related reports, including KYC data and documentation
  • Handle administrative aspects related to current accounts, portfolios, pricing and discretionary management mandates
  • Process account closures and manage blocked accounts
  • Verify and certify client signatures in accordance with internal procedures
  • Manage and maintain e-banking access
  • Ensure the proper filing, archiving and electronic maintenance of client documentation
  • Scan and process account opening files, transfer instructions, correspondence and EAM-related documentation
  • Ensure client records and documentation remain accurate and up to date
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation and operational processes

 

Required profile

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position within a Swiss bank
  • Strong knowledge of banking and account-opening documentation
  • Good understanding of Swiss and international banking regulations
  • Good knowledge of FATCA and CRS requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Rigorous, precise and well-organised approach to work
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Good command of MS Office applications and familiarity with banking systems
  • Fluent in French and English; any additional language is an asset
  • Swiss domiciliation required
