For one of our clients, a Family Office based in Geneva, we are looking for an:

 

EQUITY ANALYST - ASSISTANT PORTFOLIO MANAGER

 

Job description

Equity Investments

  • Generate investment ideas and actionable recommendations through stock screening, discussions with sell-side analysts or investment specialists, and in-depth fundamental research.
  • Produce comprehensive company analysis reports to support investment decisions.

Portfolio Monitoring

  • Cover existing equity holdings: prepare write-ups on periodic results, monitor daily corporate news, and track portfolio performance.
  • Build customised performance analysis reports; conduct P&L reconciliation and performance attribution.
  • Maintain and enhance analytical models; develop new tools and processes to track market data and trends.

Trade Execution

  • Execute trades across asset classes (equities, options, bonds, FX) in coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Private Equity Coverage

  • Monitor private equity fund investments: prepare internal periodic investment and performance reports.
  • Maintain regular communication with fund managers and participate in investor update calls.

Operational Support

  • Act as back-up for selected operational and middle-office tasks related to investment portfolios.

 

Required profile

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in equity research or equity investments (buy-side or sell-side).
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent quantitative capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in IT tools; coding experience or expertise strongly preferred (quant background not required).
  • Curious, proactive, and capable of independent thinking.
  • Strong sense of ownership, integrity, and work ethic.
  • Fluent in French and English.
