SENIOR BUSINESS MANAGER & DEPUTY COO - PRIVATE BANKING
Job description
- Lead the implementation and execution of the Regional COO activity, focusing on Technology, Operations, and Products for Private Bank Wealth Management, ensuring high-performance business delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and execute the PBWM COO vision and strategy, supporting business growth and scalability.
- Oversee platform procedures and practices, ensuring they meet global standards while maintaining effective risk management, client service, and control measures.
- Manage cost budgeting, headcount, and ensure financial control aligns with business requirements.
- Lead strategic change in the regional COO, collaborating across various functions and managing outsourced functions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the bank's Operational Risk Framework.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, reducing inefficiencies, and delivering improved client and colleague experiences.
- Provide leadership to the team, coaching and mentoring colleagues, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Represent PBWM COO in dealing with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in a senior operations role within the financial services industry, with a focus on Private Banking and Wealth Management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, operational procedures, and risk management within the private banking sector.
- Proven track record of leading operational teams, implementing strategic change, and managing complex processes in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment, with a client-first mindset.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; other languages are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements and innovation.
