For one of our clients, a leading Trust Company based in Geneva, we are looking for a :

 

TRUST ASSISTANT

 

Job description

  • Assist the Trust Officers in the day-to-day administration of Trusts, Companies and Foundations.
  • Initially assist with, and then gain competency in liaising with bankers over remittance of money, deposit accounts, and investment transactions.
  • Open trust and company bank accounts.
  • Liaise with brokers over investment transactions and settlement instructions.
  • Assist in the formation of limited companies and the setup of new trusts, and develop working knowledge through training.
  • Communicate with clients and associates by telephone and written correspondence.
  • Ensure awareness of compliance procedures and ensure that all documentation regarding client review is provided to client reviewers in a timely manner.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as requested by Trust Officers.

 

Required profile

  • At least 1-2 year of work experience in the trust sector or private client business.
  • Fluent in business English and a good level of spoken and written French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop effective relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in all relevant IT programs.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A dedicated and highly professional approach with total commitment to best practices and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • A supportive approach regarding management decisions.
  • A positive “can-do” attitude and a strong teamwork spirit.
